Hiking Scafell Pike in memory of Carolyn Bailey

Olly Bailey 7th March 2019 This event has closed

Story

Cancer Research UK estimates that there are 359,960 new cases of cancer in the UK, as of 2015, with over 7,300 of those being ovarian cancer. Unfortunately, Carolyn lost her short battle with cancer in early 2019 at the young age of 56. Carolyn was a loving mother and wife, a bubbly spirit always full of care for others.

In her memory, as a group, myself, Olly, Adam, Dan & Matt will be ascending to the summit of Scafell Pike in the Lake district, a height of near 1000m, to raise awareness and money for Ovarian Cancer prevention.
